Tire Recycling Event May 23-24!

The Mayne Island Tire Recycling Event is ON! Dig out your unwanted, unloved, unuseable tires and roll 'em down to the depot for recycling, supported by Tire Stewardship BC. 

Drop-off times at the Recycling Depot:
Friday May 23rd: 12-3pm
Saturday May 24th: 10am-4pm
Tire drop-off is ONLY accepted on May 23rd and 24th 2025.

  • Free tire drop-off. Residential quantities only, on- and off-rim tires accepted.
  • Can’t make it? Find a Return-to-Retailer (R2R) location near you at TSBC.CA
  • Are you a business or a commercial enterprise? Request a scrap tire pickup at TSBC.CA
  • Since 1991, over 122 million tires have been collected and recycled in BC.​

Wednesday 10am-2pm
Friday 10am-2pm (July and August only)
Saturday 10am-4pm

Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional:
Wednesday 2pm-3pm


The depot is open on all holidays that fall during our
​normal hours, EXCEPT: ​Sep 30, Dec 25-26, Jan 1
