Spring is on the horizon, and it's a great time to refresh your yard with some new soil, gravel, or bark mulch! If you're planning to get some landscape material delivered, you're not alone - there is now a six-week waiting list for backhaul services through the Recycling Society. Make sure to schedule yours ahead of time to get the delivery date you want! BACKHAULS On return trips with our recycling truck, we can haul landscape materials back from Vancouver Island to your property on Mayne. Our truck can carry loads of up to: - two yards of sand or gravel; - three yards of soil; or - five yards of bark mulch. One material per load, no mixing. We deliver right to your yard, and can drop off on a well-marked tarp if you're not available at the drop off time. Transport cost per load is $100, and we offer a discounted rate of $50 for registered non-profit societies.
